Madi V Writes

A Little Less Lonely

Read. Comment. Connect.

In the second grade I wrote my first short story, about a little girl adopting a puppy, in a bright orange spiral bound notebook. I’ve been dreaming of being an author ever since. I committed to writing down every thought on scrap paper and Hello Kitty diaries hopeful the next great novel would develop.

Now, I’ve got a stack ten journals high chronicling my life since 2019 and I’m partial to poetry. And while nothing will end my life long love of pouring my life onto the page, I’ve since realized it’s a impossible to be known as a writer when all of my writing lives in the privacy of my diary. I knew I had to create a space to share my writing publicly.

True to most twenty somethings I’m not sure what I want to do with my life, outside of writing. This site will serve as a home figuring it out.
